Joe

Joe Miraglilo has been performing at Durty Nelly's since 2009. Prior to Durty Nelly's he worked on the freelance dueling piano circuit and played all over the country. Joe attended The Berklee College of music in Boston as a trumpet player with a concentration in jazz and commercial music. After graduating, he opened A-Wave Studios, a 32 track digital recording studio where he recorded over 100 CD projects for various artists in the Boston area. Joe was also a faculty member at The Arts Institute in Boston, teaching the basics of music recording, audio signal flow and midi.
One of Joe's passion's is video editing and sound mixing on films. He has worked on a number of award-winning musical scores, audio mixes, editing and movie projects including his first feature length documentary, “Red Dirt: Song from the Dust”, by Lata Gouveia which has screened at several film festivals and won “Best Music Documentary” at the Bare Bones Film Festival.
Joe says, "Durty Nelly's is by far, my favorite place to play. The crowds are so fun to play for and if the audience is having fun, it becomes more fun for me! I see a lot of regular customers that don’t even live here in San Antonio. They come from all over the country… but when they come to San Antonio, they come back home to “their bar”, Durty Nelly’s. It’s nice to see that we have such a large extended 'family'."
Don

After a recent 5 year engagement as a Piano Bar Entertainer with Holland America Lines, he is now playing at Durty Nelly’s.
Don’s Irish heritage has instilled knowledge of Irish history and music, which he continues to develop and share through his performances at Durty Nelly’s. His warm smile and easy-going manner is an open invitation to come in, sit down, request a song, and sing along!
Don says, “I have traveled and performed around the world, seen many beautiful sights and The River Walk is as wonderful a place as you could ever hope to experience!”
